Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the unique needs and treatment goals for each client.

  • Administer one-on-one and group therapy sessions, focusing specifically on women and teens, while also providing Play Therapy for children who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence.

  • Maintain a thorough case management system by tracking all assigned counseling cases and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Participate in ongoing clinical supervision meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment reviews and professional development.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to empower clients through their healing journey.
  • \n
  • Offer referrals to community resources and advocate for clients’ needs, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.

  • Prepare and protect the confidentiality of client treatment records per ethical and legal guidelines, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

  • Work flexible hours, including evening shifts, to accommodate clients’ schedules and maximize accessibility to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor at Hopestone, you will primarily serve women, teens, and children from diverse backgrounds who are coping with the repercussions of domestic violence. Your role will be crucial in fostering recovery, resilience, and empowerment, providing these vulnerable populations with the therapeutic tools necessary to rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field.

  • An active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in individual counseling, family interventions, and crisis management.

  • Competency in documenting treatment plans and maintaining confidential records accurately.

  • Flexibility to work late afternoon hours (3-8 pm) at least two evenings per week.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 105,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses and potential sign-on bonuses.
