Job Description

Security OfficerAs a Security Officer at SR Global Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients, their assets, and their employees. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activities, controlling access points, and monitoring surveillance systems.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitorsConduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter security threatsRespond to emergency situations and provide assistance as neededOperate surveillance equipment and report any unusual activities or incidentsMaintain detailed records of all security-related incidentsCollaborate and communicate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessaryEnforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and assetsConduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazardsProvide excellent customer service by assisting with customer inquiries and requestsConduct training and drills for emergency procedures with other staff membersRequirements:Current Guard CardHigh school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certificationsMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or militaryStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and composed during high-stress situationsExcellent observation skills and attention to detailBasic knowledge of security and safety protocolsAbility to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be physically fit and able to stand, walk, or run for long periods of timeMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
